Abstract Submissions

Open Friday 16 July 2026

Big ideas, fresh thinking and practical engineering insight will take centre stage at EMCONZ ’27.

Abstract submissions are opening soon, and we’ll be inviting engineers, researchers, industry leaders and emerging professionals to share work that challenges thinking, sparks conversation and helps shape what’s next for the electrical and mechanical engineering professions.

With a welcome networking function on Wednesday 7 April, a full-day conference programme on Thursday 8 April, and a closing social to reflect, connect and unwind, EMCONZ ’27 is set to be a lively gathering of ideas, innovation and community.

Start thinking about the projects, lessons, breakthroughs or bold questions you could bring to the programme, abstracts open soon.
